6 Dolgey Post is a lovely holiday home located just outside the quiet hamlet of Rumford, just a short drive from Padstow and the spectacular North Cornish coastline with its famous seven bays. The interior is spacious and roomy with large, light rooms and great living space, ideal for family holidays. The open plan living area opens out through large patio doors onto the decked/patio garden, just perfect for summer entertaining and the separate snug room and log burner in the kitchen also make it an ideal winter retreat. With attractive décor throughout, great attention to detail and 3 ensuites, the owners have worked hard to ensure that your stay is as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Holiday home comprises: Downstairs: Hallway, WC with basin, snug room, large open plan kitchen/living/dining room and utility room. First floor: 1 double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bath/shower above, WC, basin & heated towel rail, 1 double room with ensuite shower, WC, basin & heated towel rail and 1 twin bedroom with ensuite shower, WC, basin & heated towel rail. Large driveway and enclosed garden with furniture, parasol and sun loungers plus far reaching rural views.Access statement: From the large gravelled driveway there are 2 steps up inside the main front door. Once inside there is a hallway leading to a downstairs WC with basin. Also off this hallway is a door leading in to the snug room which continues through to the open plan kitchen/living/dining room and utility room. There is also a doorway from the hallway leading directly into the kitchen via 1 small step plus a side door leading out down 1 step onto the side path. From the living area there are patio doors leading out down 1 step over the door frame onto the decking. 1 further small step takes you up onto the patio area and at the end of the garden another 3 steps takes you up onto a raised patio area with views across countryside. Back inside and from the snug room is a door leading to the stairs (these can also be accessed via an alternative front door on the driveway). 14 steps take you up to the first floor. On this floor is 1 double bedroom with ensuite bath/shower above, WC, basin & heated towel and 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, both with ensuite shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Linen and towels provided. Linen changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels.
