If you are looking for something really special in the older, more sought after part of Padstow, then Ruskin House is the property for you. Located in the peaceful area of Fentonluna Lane, just opposite the deer park, the owners have lovingly renovated and refurbished the house to provide a stunning and luxurious holiday home. The property retains much of its original character with some great features including original floorboards, beams, window seats and shutters whilst providing comfortable and homely living accommodation with light, bright rooms and fabulous attention to detail everywhere. Each bedroom has a modern and well appointed en-suite and all of your needs have been thought of to ensure that your stay is as relaxing as possible. The house exudes style and design with wonderful bespoke detailing and quality furnishings and fittings. Perfect for both family holidays and winter breaks there are large folding doors leading out from the dining room to the courtyard garden, which has a water feature and original well providing a tranquil outdoor space to relax, and the cosy lounge has the benefit of a log burner with original slate hearth. With a superb interior, pretty courtyard and parking, Ruskin House is definitely a one-off.
Holiday home comprises: Downstairs: Living room and open plan kitchen/diner which leads out to the courtyard. First floor: 1 double bedroom, bathroom with bath/shower above, WC, basin and heated towel rail, 1 queen size bedroom (zip and link beds can convert to a twin) with an ensuite shower room with shower, WC, basin and heated towel. Second floor: 1 king size bedroom with ensuite shower room with double shower, WC, basin and heated towel and 1 twin bedroom plus a shower room with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. From Fentonluna Lane 1 small step takes you up inside the property. On the ground floor is the living room and open plan kitchen/diner (accessed via tiny steps from the hallway). From the dining area there are large patio doors leading out over 1 step to the patio/courtyard. 2 steps up from here take you out to the road and parking area. 14 steps take you up to the first floor and 1 double bedroom, a bathroom with bath/shower above, WC, basin and heated towel rail, 1 queen size bedroom (can zip and link to create a twin room) with 2 steps up into an ensuite shower room with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Both rooms have views across the deer park. A further 12 steps take you up to the second floor and a king size bedroom (with views across the town to the estuary) with ensuite shower room with double shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. A dressing room then leads down to a twin bedroom, with views across the deer park, and a shower room with shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Linen and towels provided. Linen changed weekly. Please bring your own beach towels.
